The Round table started with viewing of award winning film "Nadi ki Kahani, Boondo ki jubani" a film developed locally under the Abhiyan, which later received a national award too. Later, Dr. Mehta oriented the participants about the Vaho Vishwamitri Abhiyan.

The present Round Table Meet- First of its kind in the country– was divided into three sessions:

2. Bio-Shield
3. Waste Water Treatment

The meeting was concluded with the following recommendations / action plans :

1.The model Vaho Vishwamitri Abhiyan is a holistic model for River Revival. It is a doable project and should be taken up for implementation.

2.It is recommended that the state Government of Gujarat makes necessary administrative arrangement like creation of Vishwamitri Development Authority with necessary authority, resources and clear mandate for the holistic development of this important river.

3.It is recommended that the Vaho Vishwamitri Abhiyan team should work closely with Ganga Abhiyan team for the similar demo model Assi River. A special joint meeting should be organized with Ministry of Water Resources, GOI in this regard.

4.It is strongly felt that the Vaho Vishwamitri Abhiyan- a holistic model is applicable for most of the rivers in the country and should become the national demonstration model.
