Awareness Generation Programs on Sustainable Energy in 60 School of Vadodara District
The state nodal agency in 2017-18 sponsored an Awareness Generation Program on Sustainable Energy in 60 Rural Schools of Vadodara district. The program included lectures and demonstration and exhibits on energy and environment. It narrated how delivering nature-based solutions at a scale can lift a billion people out of climate change effects. At the same time, explained how nature-based solutions provide co-benefits by supporting vital biodiversity and ecosystem services including access to clean air, fresh water, healthier diets, and resilience to disasters, climate regulation and overall improved livelihoods - for those that are less reliant on human made infrastructure. The program reached to ____directs participants that included school children and school teachers.
